The German defender appeared to suffer a hamstring injury during the first half of Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Stoke at Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal have suffered an injury blow with Shkodran Mustafi limping out of the clash with Stoke City, with Hector Bellerin returning to replace the centre-back.

The 24-year-old summer signing from Valencia pulled up with what is believed to be a hamstring injury during the 25th minute of the Gunners encounter with Mark Hughes’ men.

Mustafi has played every minute of the 11 Premier League games he’s been involved in this season, having formed a solid partnership alongside French defender Laurent Koscielny.
