Scottish Football Tips | Mr Fixit’s Treble | 20th August 2016

THE DAILY RECORD’S Mr Fixit (@mrfixittips) gives us his three best bets in Scotland this weekend.

Hearts v Inverness | Saturday 15.00

It’s been a sticky start to the season for Hearts but they can finally get going in the battle of the Premiership’s bottom two.

Inverness have lost three on the spin, including a cup defeat to League One Alloa, as they struggle under Richie Foran who stepped up from player to manager this summer.

Hearts followed two defeats with a creditable point away to Aberdeen last weekend and can take the three points here at evens with William Hill.

St Mirren v Hibs | Saturday 15.00

In the Championship Hibs head to St Mirren looking for a third win in a row.

Neil Lennon’s side have been guilty of missing too many chances but their recent games have guaranteed goals, with all three domestic matches played so far seeing both teams scoring and Over 2.5 Goals.

Three of St Mirren’s last four outings in all comps have had at least three goals so Over 2.5 Goals is the bet here at 10/11 with William Hill.

Alloa v East Fife | Saturday 15.00

Alloa were my headline act last week and they didn’t let me down as they slammed five past Stranraer at Stair Park.

That’s seven wins out of seven for Jack Ross’s side and it should be eight today when they entertain East Fife. Just to win the Wasps are 4/6 with Paddy Power and that’s fine for accumulators.

Best Bets

Hearts v Inverness – Hearts to win (1/1 William Hill)

St Mirren v Hibs – Over 2.5 Goals (10/11 William Hill)

Alloa v East Fife – Alloa to win (4/6 Paddy Power)
